4-2-3-1 FC Barcelona Predicted Lineup Against Inter Milan
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Barcelona will host Inter Milan in the first leg of the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 season at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The Catalan club have been in sublime form this season and are favorites to win the Treble. They beat Borussia Dortmund to qualify for the semi-final, are leading Real Madrid by four points in La Liga and also beat Los Blancos in the final of the Copa Del Rey.

During the last seven meetings with FC Barcelona playing at home, FC Barcelona have won six times, there have been one draw, and Inter Milan have won none. The goal difference is 18-4 in favor of FC Barcelona. Ter Stegen (injured), Alex Balde (injured), Marc Bernal (injured), Marc Casado (injured), and Lewandowski (injured) are set to miss this game for Barcelona. In this article, let us take a look at the predicted lineup of FC Barcelona for this game.

4-2-3-1 FC Barcelona Predicted Lineup Against Inter Milan:

Defense:

Barcelona’s defense against Inter Milan will be anchored by the experienced Szczesny in goal, offering calmness and reliability when it matters most. On the right, Kounde’s speed and versatility will be key, while the center-back duo of Araujo and Cubarsi strikes a perfect balance — Araujo’s strength and aggression complementing Cubarsi’s calm, composed style.

On the left, Martin’s energy and attacking instincts will add another dimension, pushing forward to support the offense while staying solid at the back. It’s a backline that mixes youth and experience, built to stay tight, recover quickly, and shut down Inter’s dangerous attack.

Midfield:

In midfield, Pedri and De Jong will pull the strings in the double pivot of Barcelona’s 4-2-3-1 setup. Pedri’s vision, creativity, and incredible composure under pressure will help drive the team forward, while De Jong’s tireless running and defensive awareness offer balance — protecting the backline and launching attacks with his bursts from deep.

Just ahead of them, Dani Olmo will operate as the team’s creative hub, linking midfield and attack with flair and sharp movement. This trio combines intelligence, technique, and energy and will aim to control the tempo, dominate possession, and disrupt Inter’s rhythm through sharp passing and relentless pressing.

Attack:

Up front, Ferran Torres will lead the line and will provide sharp movement and clinical finishing. Out wide, Barcelona has real firepower: Yamal, unpredictable and fearless, will look to dazzle on the right with his dribbling and sharpness, while Raphinha will offer a more direct threat on the left with his pace and eye for goal. With Olmo floating just behind them, this attack promises fluid movement, quick interplay, and the ability to create and finish the chances that could decide the match.
