Real Madrid Are Looking To Confirm Pre-Contract Negotiations With The Bayern Munich Star: Will He Accept?

The New Year is here, and the winter transfer window has also started. There has been a twist in the future of Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies. Davies can now officially negotiate with other clubs. However, Bayern are doing all that they can to tie him up into a new contract. There are reports from Spanish publication AS that Real Madrid already has an agreement in place for Davies, but Bayern are not ready to throw in the towel so soon.

Alphonso Davies’ contract with Bayern Munich will expire on June 2025

His contract is set to expire in June 2025, and Bayern management are constantly negotiating with the representatives of Davies to strike a deal. They are ready to offer a package that has a hefty €15 million per season salary along with a significant €15 million signing bonus. Bayern desperately wants to keep the Canadian at the Allianz Arena.

On the flip side, Madrid have been giving their all to sign Davies and bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu. They have personal terms agreed with the player but also maintain caution. The Los Blancos are confident given that they have offered the best pay to him and also are the greatest club in the world.

However, they do know that Davies has Bayern Munich in his heart given that he has become the best left-back in the world and matured in his career during his tenure at the Allianz Arena. He has scored one goal and provided three assists in the 21 games played across competitions so far this season.

Will Real Madrid get him?

The Canadian player has exceptional pace, is a good dribbler, and also tracks back defensively. He has been an integral part of Bayern Munich’s defensive line. Davies has the seamless ability to transition from defence to attack and hence has been an invaluable player for the Munich club. His skill set is the reason why many clubs have him on their wishlist. Davies’ pace is breathtaking and is one treat to watch.

At this moment in time, the decision is in the hands of the player. On one end, it’s Bayern, where he has matured into the player that he is now, and on the other end is Real Madrid, which is a lucrative destination for any player from their childhood. It remains to be seen what he finally decides. Only time will tell where he finally ends up.
