Nico Paz has agreement in place to join Real Madrid in 2026

Real Madrid are hoping to sign Nico Paz from Italian club Como in 2026.

According to a report from Defensa Central, Real Madrid will look to activate the buyout clause in his contract and bring the Argentina midfielder back to the club. The 20-year-old has been outstanding in Italy, and he has all the tools to develop into a future star for Real Madrid.

The report claims that the player has a verbal agreement in place with the Real Madrid hierarchy to return to the club in 2026. The South American is regarded as one of the finest young talents in European football right now, and signing him for €9-10 million could prove to be a huge bargain.

Como would have been able to recoup significantly more had Real Madrid not included the buyback clause in his contract when they allowed the player to join the Italian club. They will now benefit from their decision back then.

Meanwhile, Paz will look to establish himself as an important player for Real Madrid next season. He is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he will help Real Madrid improve going forward. He will add control, composure and technical ability in the final third. He will help open up opportunities for his teammates with his passing and vision.

The young midfielder will only improve further, and he could develop into a key player in La Liga.

Lionel Messi has previously hailed him as a player with a “lot of quality”. There is no doubt that he has the potential to improve Real Madrid.

The transfer could prove to be a huge bargain for the Spanish club if he manages to hit the ground running.
