Lopez Gets A Perfect 10 | Barcelona Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Olympiacos
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Barcelona entertained Olympiacos at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys earlier this evening as they look to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan giants made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the seventh minute when Fermin Lopez got his name on the scoresheet. Lopez doubled Barca’s advantage in the 39th minute as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Ayoub El Kaabi got a goal back for the visitors in the 53rd minute from the penalty spot. However, Santiago Hezze was sent off by the referee just four minutes later. Lamine Yamal restored Barcelona’s two-goal advantage in the 68th minute. Marcus Rashford found the back of the net as well in the 74th minute. Lopez completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute before Rashford scored again just three minutes later. The contest ended with the Catalan giants earning a dominant 6-1 win tonight.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player fared during the match against Olympiacos.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny – 6.5/10

He made one solid save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Jules Kounde – 7.5/10

Kounde was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the pitch.

CB: Eric Garcia – 6.5/10

The Spaniard dealt with the danger when he could and was tidy with his passing.

CM: Marc Casado – 7.5/10

Casado anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little in the opponent’s half.

CM: Pedri – 7.5/10

CAM: Dro Fernandez – 7/10
