The report has claimed that Madrid, who won La Liga and the Champions League last season, are looking to sign a new central defender for next season and beyond, and that Italy international ace Bastoni is on their radar.
Bastoni has been on the books of Inter since 2017 and has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world. The 25-year-old has won Serie A twice with Inter and also helped the Italian giants reach the final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2022-23 season.
Madrid are also reported to be keen on a deal for William Saliba, who is on the books of Arsenal at the moment and has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world. Los Blancos have been linked with Ousmane Diomande as well. Diomande is at Sporting Lisbon at the moment and has huge potential.
