Marc Casado is a La Masia graduate who made his senior team debut in 2022. However, his breakthrough season has come in the ongoing campaign under Hansi Flick, where he has delivered good results and proven his immense potential.
Casado has featured across 36 games this season so far, netting once and providing six assists. He is averaging 2.3 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, and 0.7 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).
The Spanish midfielder is better known for his defensive work in the middle of the park. He is always well-positioned to win back possession and intercept the emerging threads. He keeps things simple and maintains high intensity throughout the game.
