Argentine singer confirms relationship with Lamine Yamal

Argentine pop star Nicki Nicole has confirmed a relationship with Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal. The 25-year-old was rumoured to be going out with the Spain star, but any secrecy on the matter – it had not exactly been hidden – is now gone.

Nicole, 25, attended an event for Barcelona-based fashion brand Desigual as the star attraction, and confirmed her relationship with the 18-year-old. “I am very much in love, very happy and very content,” she told Marca. At a separate point, she was asked if she had been taught any Catalan while spending time in the city by fellow singer Rosalia.

“I’ve been taught to say t’estimo (I love you) in Catalan,” she replied, and when asked whether Lamine Yamal had given her any words in Catalan, Nicole responded “I love you [T’estimo], as well:”

Nico Williams’ video caught Lamine Yamal out

Lamine Yamal tacitly admitted the relationship on Sunday night following Spain’s game with Turkiye. Athletic Club winger Nico Williams took a video of the Barcelona forward grinning, and asked him why he was doing so. Lamine Yamal responded with another smile, and after locking his phone to show his screensaver, exhibited a photo of himself in Nicole’s arms.

Trip to Monaco together

The two have been dropping hints about their relationship ever since Lamine Yamal’s 18th birthday, which Nicole attended. Lamine Yamal then tagged Nicole in an Instagram story, making fun of her performance on MarioKart. Nicole also showed up at the Joan Gamper trophy in a Lamine Yamal shirt ahead of the start of the season.

After Hansi Flick gave his side some days off following their 3-0 win over RCD Mallorca six days later, the two were seen together in Monaco, where Lamine Yamal spent his time off. It appears a new celebrity couple are on the scene in the Catalan capital.
