Arsenal have been linked with a January move for Real Madrid’s Arda Guler.
The Turkish international joined Real from Fenerbahçe in July 2023, but he has become increasingly frustrated with his lack of game time under Carlo Ancelotti.
He can operate from either the right or from a central attacking position, and could provide options in positions where the Gunners are currently short of options. He has made just 8 starts in all competitions this season, with Real having so many options at their disposal.
The 19 year-old caught the eye playing for his country in the Euros last summer, so, if he does become available , could find himself in demand.
There are parallels with Martin Ødegaard as well.
He was initially brought in on loan from Real Madrid in the 2021 January transfer window, before hs move was made permanent the following summer.
