Atlético Madrid are considering a summer move for Nicolas Jackson.
The Senegalese international, who was signed from Villareal in 2023, has scored 26 goals in 68 appearances from the Blues, but there is still debate as to whether he has enough quality to lead the line for Chelsea, who continue to be linked with a number of big-name striker.
And that means that Jackson, who is currently injured, could find himself surplus to requirements and available for transfer.
Atlético have been longstanding admirers of Jackson, and know that he would need like adaptation time to get used to Spanish football again. However, they face potential competition from two Premier League clubs.
Aston Villa know they will have problems in keeping hold of Ollie Watkins in the summer and are looking for a potential replacement, and Newcastle United are worried Alexander Isak might agitate for a move if he is not guaranteed Champions League football.
