In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Barcelona are among the clubs hoping to land Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate. It has been stated that the Catalan club would have to rival Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the France international next year.

Konate’s Impressive Form In The Premier League

Konate had a solid campaign at the Merseyside club in the previous campaign after he put in a series of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. The French talent made 42 appearances for the Reds this season, scoring two goals and earning two assists in all competitions.

The 26-year-old was a rock at the back for Liverpool as he made 40 tackles, 29 blocks, 17 interceptions and 133 clearances in the Premier League.
