Barcelona are interested in signing Santi Gimenez from Feyenoord in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Barcelona are looking for a new striker for next season and beyond, and that Feyenoord could sell the Mexico international for €50 million.
Gimenez is one of the best young strikers in Europe and has been superb for Feyenoord over the years. The 23-year-old has scored 16 goals and given three assists in 19 matches in all competitions so far this season. The young striker found the back of the net 26 times and provided eight assists in 41 appearances in the 2023-24 campaign.
Barcelona are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 42 points from 21 matches, seven points behind leaders and bitter rivals Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Feyenoord currently find themselves fourth in the Eredivisie table with 36 points from 19 matches, 13 points behind leaders PSV, who have played 20 games.
