In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Barcelona are locked in a three-way battle for Bayern Munich ace Dayot Upamecano. It is understood that the Catalan club could face competition from Real Madrid and Liverpool in the race to land the French centre-back next year.
Upamecano’s Impressive Form In German Football This Season
Upamecano has enjoyed a solid campaign at the German club so far as he has put in a string of solid displays for them in the Bundesliga. The France international has participated in seven matches for the Munich giants this season across all fronts.
The 26-year-old has been a solid presence when defending inside his half and deserves credit for making six tackles, two blocks, five interceptions and seven clearances in the Bundesliga. He has also been accurate with his ball distribution after completing 91.4% of his attempted passes in the German first division (stats via fbref.com).
