Barcelona have been lamenting their fortune this international break, with a number of key players being ruled out through injury, with El Clasico looming over the horizon. The Blaugrana travel to the Santiago Bernabeu in 10 days to face Real Madrid, and will be without a number of resources.
Forward Ferran Torres suffered muscle discomfort while on Spain duty, and is struggling to be back for their Catalan derby with Girona this weekend on Saturday. The Blaugrana will also be without Dani Olmo for the rest of the month, and Robert Lewandowski too, who suffering a hamstring tear that may see him out of action until the next international break.
Barcelona receive positive news on Raphinha injury
There is good news regarding Raphinha’s fitness though. That is according to MD, who report that after tests on Thursday, there is optimism at Can Barca that Raphinha can be present against Real Madrid. The Brazilian underwent a scan on Thursday, and his progress is thought to be positive. He could be included in the squad for their Champions League clash with Olympiakos on Tuesday too, but will not feature against Girona. This comes after updates that Raphinha was more of a doubt for El Clasico than first thought.
Ferran Torres question mark for Girona
Meanwhile there is a chance that Torres could be back in contention against Girona. He trained alone in the gym on Thursday after telling Flick that he was still feeling some discomfort in his leg. The former Valencia man’s availability will hinge on whether he can train at full pelt on Friday.
Ferran Torres has chatted with Flick this morning to tell him that he still has some slight discomfort in his hamstring. He should still be available against Girona. Tomorrow’s session will be decisive. @monfortcarlos

If Torres is not available then it will leave Hansi Flick with only Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji fully fit for his forward line. It is expected that Lamine Yamal will be at least fit enough for the bench, while Fermin Lopez could also be used in attack, as he is also expected to come back from injury.
