Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey in the summer transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. Partey is out of contract at Premier League club Arsenal at the end of the season, and La Liga outfit Barcelona are keen on securing his services on a free transfer.

Partey reportedly is no hurry to make a decision on his future and is unlikely to decide what he would like to do until towards the end of the season. Juventus are also keeping tabs on the situation of 31-year-old Ghana international defensive midfielder.

Barcelona are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 51 points from 24 matches, level on points with second-placed and defending champions Real Madrid and a point ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Arsenal currently find themselves second in the Premier League table with 53 points from 25 games, eight points behind leaders Liverpool.
