Chelsea faced off against Real Betis at the Agia Sophia Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the UEFA Conference League final. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the ninth minute when Abde Ezzalzouli found the back of the net. Enzo Maresca’s men struggled to find the equaliser and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Enzo Fernandez equalised for the West London club in the 65th minute before Nicolas Jackson put Chelsea 2-1 ahead just five minutes later. Jadon Sancho killed the game off in the 83rd minute. Moises Caicedo joined in on the goal-scoring act in injury time as the Blues cruised to a dominant 4-1 win tonight.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against Real Betis.

GK: Filip Jorgensen – 6.5/10

He made a couple of important saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Malo Gusto – 5/10

Gusto made a costly error in the first half and was substituted at half-time.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6.5/10

He did his best to keep things solid at the back but his ball distribution left a lot to be desired.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 5.5/10

Badiashile was far from convincing when defending inside his half and was replaced in the 61st minute.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6/10

He did his best to neutralise the threat of Antony but didn’t offer much going forward.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10

Fernandez scored the all-important equaliser with a good header in the 65th minute.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10

He had a tough first half but put in a much-improved showing in the second. Caicedo got his deserved goal in injury time.

RW: Pedro Neto – 6/10

Neto struggled to get into the flow of the game and put in a lackluster display in the opponent’s half.

CAM: Cole Palmer – 8/10

He was always looking to create chances for others around him and set up Fernandez’s goal with a good pass.

LW: Noni Madueke – 6/10

Madueke struggled to give a good account of himself on the left flank and put in a disjointed display tonight.

ST: Nicolas Jackson – 7/10

Jackson did well to get his name on the scoresheet and put Chelsea 2-1 ahead in the 70th minute.

Substitutes:

RB: Reece James – 6.5/10

He managed to impress after coming on at half-time.

CB: Levi Colwill – 6/10

Colwill kept things solid at the back.

LW: Jadon Sancho – 7.5/10

He put the match to bed in the 83rd minute.

CM: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 6.5/10

Dewsbury-Hall made one good run with the ball.

ST: Marc Guiu – N/A
