Real Madrid entertained Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 33rd minute thanks to Arda Guler’s effort. Kylian Mbappe doubled his team’s advantage just six minutes later as Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Mbappe scored again for the home side in the 48th minute. However, Celta Vigo got a goal back via Javi Rodriguez’s effort in the 69th minute. Williot Swedberg scored another goal for the visitors just seven minutes later but the Madrid giants hung on to their slender lead and secured a narrow 3-2 win at the Bernabeu this afternoon.

Garcia caught the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.
CM: Dani Ceballos – 6.5/10
He made one decent chance in the final third but failed to threaten the opposition goal.

Valverde earned the ball back twice and made one promising run with the ball.
RW: Arda Guler – 9/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.
CAM: Jude Bellingham – 7/10
Bellingham proved his worth at times in the Celta Vigo half and did well to earn an assist.
LW: Vinicius Jr. – 7/10
He made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball on the left flank but there was no goal for him.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 8.5/10
Mbappe was a real threat up top and managed to score twice to help Los Blancos get over the line with all three points in the bag.
