KYLIAN MBAPPE has given Real Madrid another injury scare after leaving the France camp due to an ankle problem.
The French superstar had netted a brace in the team’s 4-0 win over Ukraine on Thursday night to help them qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

And Mbappe was hoping to make the trip to face Azerbaijan on Sunday as his side look to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
But the superstar won’t be involved after suffering inflammation on his right ankle, forcing him to leave the camp.
The French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed the news and said he would return to Madrid for tests.
They also added Eduardo Camavinga would also return to Madrid after picking up a muscle strain, while Manu Kone is suspended.

Madrid boss Xabi Alonso will bed desperate for his star man to return as soon as possible after his 13 goals helped take the team top of La Liga.
Los Blancos are only three points off clear of rivals Barcelona and know they could struggle if Mbappe is set for a spell out.
The 26-year-old is continuing to show why he is one of the world’s most talented forwards after netting his 400th career goal against Ukraine.
But he played down the accomplishment and said he was more interested in rivalling Cristiano Ronaldo in his bid to reach 1,000 goals.
He said: “Now, 400… it doesn’t impress people. If you want to be in this circle that shocks people, you have to score another 400!
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s 1,000 goals? That is unreal. But let’s try the unreal. We have to try it, we only have one career.”
He has 62 goals in 75 games for Madrid since joining on a free transfer last season, while he managed 235 in 264 games for PSG beforehand.
For France, he has 55 strikes from 94 caps and he will be their chief hope of winning the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico next year.

Speaking on France’s World Cup qualification after their thumping win over Ukraine, he said: “Pride. We must never trivialise this, today it is becoming normal, but it has not always been so in the history of the France team.
“We had to have as much common sense as possible – the most important thing was qualification.”
