One of Europe’s biggest clubs reportedly ‘accelerate contacts’ to sign Liverpool and Real Madrid-linked left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
Bayern Munich have reportedly joined the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a superb season with the Cherries, chipping in with two goals and six assists in 31 Premier League games for a side who currently sit 10th in the table and remain in contention to qualify for Europe.
Kerkez has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers since the arrival of head coach Andoni Iraola and although the Hungary international is under contract at the Vitality Stadium until June 2028, he is allegedly expected to leave the club this summer.
Several top European clubs are understood to hold an interest in Kerkez including Premier League champions-elect Liverpool, who are thought to be one of the frontrunners for his signature.
A recent report claims that Liverpool have shown an interest in Kerkez, who is valued by Bournemouth at around £45m.
Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been linked with the left-back, as have Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

Bayern step up pursuit of in-demand Kerkez
However, according to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are one of the latest clubs who are now closely monitoring Kerkez’s situation, with Bournemouth said to be aware of the growing interest in the defender.
The report adds that the Bundesliga giants have accelerated contacts with Kerkez in recent weeks and are convinced that he would fit perfectly into Vincent Kompany’s style of play.
Kerkez’s aggressive style, tactical awareness and ability to join in with attacks is said to align with what Bayern scouts are searching for, and a significant investment will not be ruled out to secure his signature.
Bayern’s first-choice left-back is Alphonso Davies, who recently comitted his future to the Allianz Arena by penning a contract extension until 2030, but the Canadian is set to miss the start of next season as he is recovering from an ACL injury sustained last month.
Raphael Guerreiro is another left-back option at Kompany’s disposal, while right-back Josip Stanisic has also featured on the left side of defence since Davies picked up his injury on international duty.
It remains to be seen whether Kerkez would be interested in a move to Germany, but the left-back has made it clear that he dreams to “play at the highest level” and win trophies for “the best teams”.
