Manchester City are interested in signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid in 2026, according to Fichajes.
‘Manchester City already boast attacking stars but are evaluating reinforcing with freshness and new flair,’ notes the report.
‘Vinícius fits that profile and could slot into City’s scheme, combining talent and ambition.’
Vinicius Junior is under contract at Real Madrid until the summer of 2027, but talks over a new deal have stalled. The Brazil international forward also hit out at Madrid manager Xabi Alonso for substituting him against Barcelona in El Clasico last weekend, but he eventually publicly apologised for his tantrums.
Madrid are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 27 points from 10 matches, five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Barcelona. Meanwhile, Man City currently find themselves fifth in the Premier League table with 16 points from nine games, six points behind leaders Arsenal.
