Marseille are interested in signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The Ligue 1 club wanted to secure the services of the midfielder in the summer transfer window, but the Madrid star decided to stay put at the Santiago Bernabeu.
That has not put off Marseille from trying again for Ceballos, with the French club set to make another attempt to convince the 29-year-old to make the switch. Madrid themselves are open to offloading Ceballos in the middle of the season.
Ceballos is not seen as an integral part of Madrid’s team. The former Arsenal loanee has made one start and three substitute appearances in La Liga for Los Blancos so far this season, playing a total of 90 minutes. The midfielder made four substitute appearances for Madrid at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
