In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Real Madrid are determined to land Como playmaker Nico Paz next year. It is understood that Los Blancos are eager to bring the Argentine attacker back to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in 2026.
Paz’s Impressive Form In Italian Football
Paz enjoyed a decent run of form at the Italian club in the previous campaign when he put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The Argentine talent was involved in 35 matches for Como last season, scoring six times and earning nine assists across all fronts.
The 21-year-old gave a good account of himself in the opposition half by averaging 3.84 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He kept 27.3% of his attempts on target. Paz even distributed the ball relatively well after completing 80.6% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Italian club will expire in the summer of 2028. Hence, Real Madrid would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Paz next year.
