Real Madrid Make Enquiry About This Liverpool Star: Should They Sign Him?

According to Edu Aguirre on El Chiringuito, Real Madrid have enquired about the possibility of signing Ibrahima Konate in the summer. The Liverpool defender, who will enter into the final year of his current contract, will cost over €60 million.

Ibrahima Konaté arrived at Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has been a solid performer for the club. He has done decently well and has contributed significantly to the English club’s success in the last few years.

Konate has featured across 32 games in the ongoing campaign, netting twice and as many assists. He is averaging 1 tackle, 0.6 interceptions, and 3.8 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).

The French centre-back is known for his strong physicality, calm nature, positioning and speed. He is extremely comfortable on the ball and has great distribution skills. He anticipates the threats well and marks an aerial dominance.
