REAL MADRID have decided to sell Vinicius Jr this summer, according to reports.
German newspaper Bild claim that the club have “had enough of the Brazilian’s escapades”, with the star’s rant at manager Xabi Alonso after being subbed in El Clasico the final straw.

As he walked off the pitch, he was caught by Spanish TV cameras questioning: “Me? Me? Gaffer, gaffer! Me?”
Vinicius then stormed straight down the tunnel, appearing to yell: “It’s always me, I’m leaving the team. I’m leaving, I’d better leave.”
The forward, 25, was then forced to apologise both in public and in private to the coach.
But on the same day as the apology, an article appeared in The Athletic claiming some players had issues with Alonso’s style of management and demand for discipline.

One quote even said: “He thinks he’s Pep Guardiola but so far he’s just Xabi.”
Bild report that the club fear members of Vinicius Jr’s camp were responsible for that particular leak.
Club president Florentino Perez, 78, never has any qualms about siding with Real Madrid‘s ‘Galacticos’ over the manager when he feels it is necessary.
However, even he is said to feel Vinicius has now gone too far and it is time to show that nobody is bigger than the club.

After infuriating the club during El Clasico, Vini then stoked another row this weekend when he took a penalty off Kylian Mbappe against Valencia and missed.
Alonso looked irate on the touchline and said after the match: “We assign the penalty takers, and Kylian is the first one. Then they make decisions.
“I like it when they score penalties because it’s a good opportunity.
“Kylian scored the first one, and I would have liked him to score the second one too. It’s not a big deal. Kylian is still the first one.”
Should Vinicius Jr leave Real Madrid, he will not be short of Premier League suitors for the right price, with all of the ‘Top Six’ having their own reasons to want to sign him and means of doing so.
And even though Real Madrid are keen to sell Vinicius Jr, they also want to extend his contract.
That’s because any potential buyers will currently have the upper hand in negotiations as the forward’s deal only runs to 2027.
