FC Barcelona are set to face off against Real Betis in the Round of 16 of the Copa Del Rey at their home ground in Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. They have recently won the Supercup de Espana by beating their arch-rivals Real Madrid by a margin of 5-1. It was a sensational performance from the team and will hold them in a good state ahead of the knockout match against Betis. Barca beat Barbastro 4-0 in the Round of 32 of the Copa Del Rey. Defence:

Inaki Pena is set to start in goal for this game. Szczęsny has received a red card in the Supercopa de Espana final.

Jues Kounde will start as a right-back. Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi will be the centre-back pairing for the team. Araujo will be back in the XI amidst reports of his departure from the club due to the injury of Inigo Martinez. Alejandro Balde will play as the left-back.

Midfield:

Marc Casado and Pedri will be the two defensive pivots in the playing XI. Marc Casado has assisted 3 goals in 16 matches so far in the La Liga 2024/2025 season.
