Xabi Alonso wants Real Madrid to sign Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Enzo Fernández from Chelsea in the coming months.

The 24-year-old is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League right now, and he has attracted the attention of the La Liga club.

According to a report from Fichajes, Xabi Alonso sees him as a key cog in his midfield going forward, and he is pushing the Spanish club to sign the player. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid comes forward with an official proposal to get the deal done. They will have to pay a substantial amount of money in order to get the deal done.

Chelsea paid in excess of £100 million to sign the midfielder, and they will look to make a profit on him. The 24-year-old is an elite talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a world-class player with the right guidance.

Real Madrid are lacking in control in the middle of the park after the departure of Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos. Signing the Argentine International could prove to be a wise decision. He will help them control games from the deep and add creativity to the side as well.

Fernandez has been described as a “wonderful player” recently. The midfielder could be attracted to the idea of joining Real Madrid. It would be a massive opportunity for him and a huge step up in his career.

However, the asking price could complicate any potential move. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can negotiate a deal in the coming months. Chelsea will not want to lose a player of his calibre any time soon, and they will demand an absurd amount of money.
