‘You have to come’ – Mbappe ‘tells’ Liverpool target to join

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Los Blancos to sign Liverpool transfer target Michael Olise.

The Bayern Munich man is said to be seen as a potential long-term successor to club legend Mohamed Salah on Merseyside.

Olise made the high-profile leap from Crystal Palace to the German giants during the summer of 2024 and enjoyed almost-instant success.

During his first campaign in the Bundesliga, the 23-year-old lifted the German title and the German Super Cup – the first major trophies of his career.

Olise consistently posted excellent numbers for Vincent Kompany’s side last term, scoring 17 goals and providing 18 assists across 50 competitive appearances.

According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Bayern Munich attacker Olise has been scouted by one of his international teammates.

The report claims that French hero Mbappe is a massive admirer of the 23-year-old, who he is currently on duty with for World Cup qualifiers versus Ukraine and Iceland.

It is understood that the Real Madrid star has told Los Blancos to sign Olise at the conclusion of the current 2025-26 campaign.

However, the Bayern winger is not said to be at the top of Real’s list at this moment, meaning that a summer deal appears unlikely.

Although not concrete, there have been rumblings and murmurs of Olise potentially being a top transfer target for Liverpool.

Where is Olise’s ceiling?

At the age of 23, Olise is already showing a frightening consistency in his game, especially during the past 12 months at Bayern Munich.

Although he missed out on winning the FA Cup with Crystal Palace, the Frenchman will not regret the move to Bavaria at all.
